Introduction
Leeward Community College, also known as Leeward CC, is a public community college located in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It is one of the ten branches of the 鶹 of Hawaii system, anchored by the 鶹 of Hawaii at Mānoa in Honolulu. Leeward CC was founded in 1968 as the first community college in the UH system to be developed without an association to a pre-existing technical school. The institute’s main mission is to provide affordable and quality education. The 49-acre campus also houses the provisional campus of the 鶹 of Hawaii-West Oahu.
