Introduction
Located in Somerset, Kentucky, Somerset Community College is part of the Kentucky Community and Technological College System. Somerset Community College is a public, two-year college that maintains an open-admissions policy. Matriculates at the college may choose from among numerous courses and may pursue a diploma, an Associate’s degree, or one of various certificates. Somerset Community College offers academic, technical, and general education curricula.
The college’s history dates back to 1965, when it was opened as part of the Âé¶¹Íø of Kentucky’s Community College System. Although it was originally established on one campus, today Somerset Community College has two campuses and four centers in south-central Kentucky. Somerset Community College services numerous counties in the regional Kentucky area, including Casey County, Clay County, Russell County, Wayne County, and Whitley County.
